As part of the study, you will receive an antenasal COVID-19 test. You will be asked to collect the sample yourself by putting a swab (similar to a small, flexible q-tip) into each nostril to collect a sample from the inside of your nose. Study staff will watch to make sure it is done correctly. The video below shows what you will be asked to do.
To measure antibody levels, a small sample of blood will be collected through a fingerstick. Fingerstick blood samples are collected using a small, sterile needle to make a small prick in your fingertip, and then collecting a few drops of blood on a paper card. You will be asked to collect the sample yourself. Study staff will be available for guidance to make sure it is done correctly. More information is shown below.
